When entering a Hungarian toll road, all motor vehicles with a maximum permissible weight of up to 3500 kg must have a valid e-vignette for the correct vehicle category.

Like most European countries with a vignette toll system, Hungary has also introduced the latest 1-day motorway vignette. The one-day vignette is valid for all paid sections of roads in Hungary on the day of purchase from the moment of purchase until midnight the same day. If purchased in advance, it is valid for 24 hours, from midnight to midnight on the next specific day.
